As you all know, there is no place better to be than Santa Clara High School. Our first 100 days have passed, and now less than 80 more to go! The students are working hard and are enjoying themselves, while building friendships that will last a lifetime. We are truly a family and by the grace of God, we are flourishing! We want to thank each and every one of you for your hard work and dedication to the school. None of this would be possible without your love and your support. This upcoming weekend will be our second Open House and we are looking forward to seeing all of the new faces who are interested in our school. If you know of anyone who is interested in SCHS, please have them attend January 30th from 11am-1pm.
January 31- February 5th is Catholic Schools week, and we are excited for all of the events that we have scheduled! This is our time to show the community our pride and what being a Catholic School is all about: Faith. Service. Excellence. A complete schedule will be revealed soon!
As we have stated several times this year, Summer school must be completed at Santa Clara High School for any classes where a student fails. The information flyer was sent out and is available in the office. We will allow students to take credit recovery courses or enrichment courses that would normally not fit their schedules. In some cases we will allow students to take courses at Oxnard Community College as an alternative but the student must get approval first. Please reach out our counselor, Mrs. Huber, Huber@santaclarahighschool.com for any questions regarding courses or college eligibility.
Re-registration has already begun, and a special thank you to those parents who have already scheduled their appointments and have met with me. A gentle reminder that our fee schedule is as follows: $300.00 per child if re-registered by February 28, 2016, or… $375.00 per child by March 15, 2016, or… $450.00 per child by June 15, 2016. Each family must have a face-to-face meeting with me in order to re-register—please plan on approximately 30 minutes to fill out the paperwork and for our meeting. If you haven’t yet scheduled your meeting, please contact Mrs. Luna at: firstname.lastname@example.org

Gospel Meditation for the week:
“Today is holy to your Lord your God.”
If you come with a listening heart, the word of God will come to life for you. Jesus’ sacramental presence will fill your heart with his love and his grace to live a holy life. If you come with the right disposition, as the Israelites did, God will surely fill you up!
