Principal's Newsletter: September
This year is one that has been marked by many blessings and we are continually amazed by the hard work, determination, and Spirit that our students have at SCHS. The smiles, laughter, and eagerness to help others is seldom seen at the high school level, but are all everyday occurrences at our school. It is truly a family that has come together as we work daily to grow together. May God continue to grant us a year full of successes as we work with you in educating our students.
As we have said before, this year we are focused on two areas: Accountability and Respect for the benefit of all. We had a great turn out for our Back to School Night and we appreciate your focus on your student's education--this is a collaborative partnership between the school and home and the more we work together, the better the results for the students. Mid-terms are in 3 short weeks, so please make sure your student is prepared.
In regard to collaboration and communication, please make sure the school office has your current email address on file as well as accurate phone numbers. We have been and will continue sending mass communication through Teacherease, which is essential to stay informed.

Gospel Meditation for the month:
He stepped forward and touched the coffin; at this the bearers halted. (Luke 7:14)
Imagine Jesus walking into your little town, into your life. He knows exactly where you are and what you need. He touches your circumstances, your weaknesses, and your failings. Take a moment to stop and wait. There is healing, deliverance, and restoration in his presence. He looks at you, and he says, “Arise!” (Luke 7:14).
One day [Jesus asked his disciples]… “Who do you say I am?” -Luke 9:18 & 20
Life with Christ is an endless hope, without him a hopeless end –Anonymous
In Jesus’ Name,
